Cargo Crew are thrilled to dress Chef Curtis Stone and his team at his restaurant Gwen on Sunset Boulevard in LA. “Gwen” is a homage to his maternal grandmother who lived on a livestock farm outside of Melbourne, Australia.
The Gwen team proudly wear Cargo Crew for both front of house service and back of house chefwear, supporting the full visual language the restaurant offers. The Gwen dining experience focuses on fire-based cooking techniques, alongside a European-based Butcher Shop showcasing Curtis’ team's love of premier meat production.

Our range of chefwear has been designed in consultation with Chef Curtis with extensive wear trials being conducted at Gwen LA prior to launching our range. – Chef Curtis Stone provided his industry expertise on all of the important details, including, the best placement and length of straps, pockets for tools and feedback on fabric weights and garment comfort.
The Gwen LA team now wear our hard-wearing Banjo Chef Range of aprons, chef jackets, and work shirts day in day out and we are confident in the performance our chef wear delivers, knowing our uniforms are Built For Work!
The Gwen team required uniforms for both their chef and kitchen teams and their front of house, restaurant managers, servers and bar staff.
The colour palette for the Front of House uniforms needed to be cohesive and in line with the Gwen brand and interiors, while still allowing each job function to be identified on the restaurant floor.
A contemporary monogram range of black, white and charcoal shirt dresses, shirts and vests were delivered across this team.
Working with Curtis Stone for over three years on chef uniform wear trials at his second restaurant Georgie resulted in a uniform range designed by world-class chefs and built for work.
