Who are St Mary’s House of Welcome?
Located in the heart of Fitzroy, Melbourne, SMHOW provides food, shelter and kindness to people living on the margins of society experiencing homelessness, poverty and mental illness. St Mary’s was born in 1960 when the Daughters of Charity observed the increasing demand for a safe place to serve food for people most in need.
